Easter Camping

Tomorrow is Good Friday and most people will have the day off work, which makes this the perfect weekend to get out there and spend some time in the wildnerness.  I like to camp on off weekends when it won't be so packed, but most people need a third day to make it worth the drive, 'specailly for people who aint so close to the primary camping sites.

Now me, I like to go camping where its really greenwich i love.  This year you really gotta watch out for those damn gold diggers stealing your money at the gas station.  Those pumps are committing highway robbery this year!  Stephen Dent won't be paying those gold diggers, nope, not me!

I'm gonna car pool with some old army buddies and split the cost of gas.  Can't let these high prices keep up from camping on the weekends.  Happy easter and enjoy the campfires

I finally got a twitter account going, and my username is DentStephen1, so you should follow me to keep up with everything about camping in South Caroline. I know it is cold as hell right now and the last thing you might be thinking about is camping, but I promise its a great time to camp. If nothing else the ice fishing is great in SC this time of year, and a good whisky and cider will warm you soul as you spend some time away from the ol' ball and chain, or whatever you might find yourself in need of a break from.

So, finally, the Stephen Dent South Carolina page is getting updated. I'm so happy about this. Stephen Dent is a true humanitarian when it comes to him and his camping efforts.

I can't wait to see how the site turns out. It has been an exciting ride.

Hello South Carolina Campers and RV lovers:

I started a webpage several months ago to get things going on the s. carolina camping scene. To give people an idea of what they have right at thier fingertips when it comes to camping int he southeastern US.



If you want ot really know what is available to you for camping, this is one of the best times of the year to go camping, especially in the great state of South Carolina.


I hope i can find some other people in the South Carolina region that have the same love of camping that I do.


I'll be back soon to write more and as soon as i can figure out how to post pictures on this blog I will have some great photos of some of my most recent camping expeditions in northern South Carolina from July.
